Having a virtual bingo night with your friends or colleague as part of an online social, work event or a charity fundraiser is relatively easy.
This is how you can set it up.
- Decide who will do the Bingo caller role.
- Before the game begins, the bingo caller will let participants know the patterns required to win each prize. There may be multiple winning patterns. You can find some sample game ideas here.
- The Bingo caller generates the numbers and calls them to the players. In order to be the caller you must have an android device and download the Jimbo’s Bingo app from the Google play store. Open the App and click the button labeled ‘Bingo Caller’.
- Players can play a single or mutiple bingo cards. They can generate a bingo card for the game either using the android app or by using the Bingo card links in the menu on this site . Users can mark their card(s) by touching the number called. If they make a mistake they can touch again to remove the mark.
- When a player marks a winning pattern, they shout ‘BINGO’ and then let the caller know which pattern has been won.
- If prizes are being awarded, the screen can be shared using the meeting software (Zoom/ Teams). Alternatively, a screenshot can be sent to the caller to be verified.
I hope you really enjoy playing Bingo with your friends
